Although
unknown to many, Guadalajara is located at an altitude of over 5,000 ft
and is surrounded by vast canyons and mountains. This terrain is perfect
for outdoor adventures including rock climbing, hiking and rappelling.
With these natural resources located just outside our door, we have put
together this rock climbing package to keep you busy when your not
studying Spanish. Whether you want to learn how to rock climb or just want
to get out and practice, our experienced and qualified instructors will
guide you. The course is based on week long segments. If you choose more than
one week, the schedule is the same, but more advanced techniques and
different routes will be followed.
Availability:
The rock climbing program is available (additional fees
apply) to all students who
are enrolled in our Intensive Spanish Immersion Program which includes
four hours of Spanish class Monday - Friday. Depending on the number of
weeks of Spanish, students may choose to take part in the rock climbing
course for the entire time or for only part of the time. To accommodate the rock climbing
activities, Spanish classes will take place from 4pm to 8pm.
